• B Std (03:44) - In the following videos we look at a couple of different 7 string tunings you can try out on your 7 string guitar. Starting off we will look at B Std, which is your standard 7 string tuning.
• Drop A (03:46) - This is the 7-string equivalent o Drop D on a 6 string. We look at the types of chord shapes and voicing you can use in this tuning.
• Drop D with a Low A (01:31) - This is an alternate tuning on Drop A, where you incorporate the Drop D of a 6 string.
• BEADF#BE (02:33) - This is an interesting spin on B Std, where you flatten the G String. This helps with full chords shapes on all 7 strings.
• AEADF#BE (01:19) - This is an alternate tuning on Drop A, where you flatten the G string to F#. And you can see the types of chord voicing you can use with this tuning.
• BEADF#BB (02:49) - This is also an interesting alternate take on your B Std, where you drop the high E string down to B. SO it is like B Std on a 6 string with an extra high B string.
• BEADF#BD# (02:34) - This is another alternative tuning take on B Std, where you flatten the G and E string down to F# and D#.
• Octave Drop E (02:43) - This is a fun tuning where you drop the low B all the way down to E1, so you have an octave jump between the 7th and 6th string.
