Kithara Explained

If you're curious about how to use Native Instruments' new layered sample VI based on guitars and stringed instruments from around the world, well, fret no more. Veteran Groove3 instructor Larry Holcombe will guide you step-by-step through Kithara, teaching you how to adjust all the parameters and utilize all the features to quickly create evocative and inspiring sounds. Kithara Overview & Interface (06:18) - This video introduces the series and plugin and also outlines the different areas of the interface. We also discuss the layered architecture of the plugin.
Main & Layers Page (10:18) - We discuss in detail the main and layers page next. This allows us to set the 4 different sound sources that will be used for the attack, sustain 1 and 2 and release layers. We can also amend envelopes and map the sustain layers in different ways.
The Fragments Page (13:41) - Next up, we discuss the fragments page which allows us to add a "cloud"? of notes to add to the textual quality of Kithara patches.
