Important things not explained.

An ok ish video as I see it. Unfortunately some things are not really explained. So many tutorial video's in general assume far greater student knowledge than is reasonable. People who buy these video's by definition dont have background ...people with knowledge dont need to use them at all. In this one Tyler treats the external processing poorly for mine. I am utterly confused by the explaination or better the lack of. He doesnt show how to route, say a guitar he just says you can in the Daw and in Standalone...but how, especially in standalone. Silence. Also in the Daw he places the vst in the master...why? That would mean every track would route through the Ms 20 on the master. A proper example should have been shown for how to do these things, especially again in standalone.

I am a: Beginner

Thanks for your review! This video series is dedicated to the MS-20 software and does require a certain amount of DAW knowledge and routing etc, as we cannot possibly include those things in every tutorial. We do have tutorial series on DAW and Synth terminology and core basics that every DAW share. Those are great places to start. Thanks again!

Sharp and concise.

Lucky to be a G3 author as well - I always look to the site for topics I need clarity on. Tyler illuminates a tool he's clearly fond of but is brief and direct. Very nice spoken voice as well. I love the plug but this almost makes me want to buy a hardware version. Winner.
