A must watch for Melodyne newbies
Melodyne is an amazing product for editing vocals. Much easier and more extensive than doing it in Pro Tools BUT... Melodyne is not the most intuitive program out there. I found the app pretty frustrating when trying to figure it out on my own. Then I found this video and the world of Melodyne opened up completely. It still take some getting used to but now I know how to get what I want. Plus Eli is a great teacher! Next up: Tips and Tricks. I own Melodyne Studio using Pro Tools 2019.6 on a 2012 Mac Pro so not ARA I rated the Value at 3.5 only because i have collected 52 of G3's videos over the years and for as great as this one is, there are others that aren't quite as informative. Eli is bank though.

Very helpful and well done as always!
This tutorial will allow you to get right into doing some truly amazing things with your audio. Eli breaks it all down quite well. What I would really love to see are exercises that reinforce the lessons. I think there is a tendency to just watch the series and try to carry it over to your workflow. If you can do that, good on you but I think most people would benefit from some structured exercises that reinforce the concepts.

No shortcuts for Windows users??
Interesting and useful, but we hear all the time the shortcuts for different fonctions for Mac, but not the corresponding ones on Windows, so it’s harder to follow and to use all the explanations.

Useful Practical Interpretation : A key tutorial to professional Vocals
This tutorial and Eli as teacher, are a notch above anything I have seen and used . All those under the hood details come together to be used so effectively. I use the lesson segments practicing on a vocal track I recorded. and it is mind blowing. The one element Pitch Tune Macro combined with Chord Scale is truly unbelievable. How this artificial intelligence gets so artistic. when carefully used It is undetectable that the vocals were tuned. I am just learning this fairly complex tool. So exciting. In the past I looked at Melodyne as too complicated it may have been or they have a marketing/explaining issue? but now with Eli's help, it has become my go to tool for tuning vocals. The studio level is wild. I have the assistant and it is already doing miracles.

Eli is a great help
He really helped me learn my way around using Melodyne 5, and especially the new features, but also the basics of how to control the GUI and to get things done, making it do its magic. I took a plethora of notes and tried what he did until I could make it work, or had to give up because it was Pro Tools versus ARA. A section on how to make it sound most natural would be good. Eli is a master teacher and his courses are always excellent! Thank you!
